My Story

An Interior Designer by profession and an academician by sheer passion, I am Manasee Kakkad, I hold a MA in Interior Design and I am currently working as a design educator. I am an out-an-out people’s person, with a dash of craziness and immense passion for teaching. My greatest drive comes from the thirst for gaining and sharing knowledge.

Teaching helps me engage with different personalities and create diverse possibilities. Personally, opening up student minds and pushing them beyond the creative horizons that they have set for themselves is a great motivator. Essentially, teachers help shape individuals which in turn adds humongous responsibility on me to do the job right.

​Over the years I've been very fortunate to have met many multifaceted people in my career, including students, teachers, and mentors. They have challenged and inspired me to be a dynamic educator. They have shown me that learning is a lifelong pursuit and motivated me towards that goal.
